TRAINING METHODOLOGY:

We use the “ARC" training methodology which is a model for analyzing and understanding the structure of any session. "ARC" stands for
"Authentic use,"
"Restricted use," and
"Clarification and Focus."
These categories form an all inclusive partition of all possible language training activities.

ADVANTAGE OF ARC METHODOLOGY:

The ARC model also has potential for helping trainers design components - like lessons that address particular teaching points (grammatical, lexical, functional / pragmatic) that can be "plugged into" appropriate places in the training sessions. The ARC model could help trainers isolate exactly what goes into a successful session and incorporate this into a computer database that the trainer can use to clone an already existing session into a new session that addresses new training points.
